Not So Odd, Odd News Awarded





Some of the odd news awards collection will end up in a book or possibly a television series.  Some of these articles are great starting point to build a short story/TV segment around.  The Odd News Awards with a little luck  and a lot more work could be today's "Twilight Zone" like series.

"I check the breasts of my workers on my own" Cancer Hospital Slogan Seen as Sexist
"WARSAW (Reuters) – Polish feminists have objected to a hospital's breast cancer prevention slogan which they say encourages workplace harassment, the Gazeta Wyborcza daily said on its website on Monday.


The slogan "I check the breasts of my workers on my own" was devised by a cancer hospital in the southern town of Opole and aimed at convincing employers to encourage their female workers to have their breasts checked regularly for cancer symptoms." Read More

No kidding?! A cancer hospital in Poland thought that this is a good slogan?! I'm beginning to rethink whether or not Polish jokes are wrong?







One Day they will hold an election and no one will run.
